1. Information we collect
SokoYetu may collect account information such as name, phone number, email address, password credentials, role type, delivery details, order history, payment reference information, product listings, seller details, uploaded product images, live-shopping interactions and support messages.
2. Why we collect information
We use information to create and protect accounts, process orders, manage seller products, support M-PESA checkout, deliver products, track orders, prevent fraud, improve recommendations, support customers and operate the marketplace.
3. Payment information
SokoYetu does not need to store M-PESA PINs. Payment records should only store the information needed to confirm and reconcile transactions, such as phone number, amount, order number, payment status and M-PESA receipt reference where available.
4. Product images and uploads
Sellers and admins may upload product photos. Uploaded images must belong to the uploader or be used with permission. SokoYetu may remove images that appear misleading, unlawful, unsafe or unsuitable for the marketplace.
5. Sharing information
We may share limited order and delivery details with sellers, delivery partners, payment processors and support staff where needed to complete an order or resolve a customer issue.
6. Your choices
Users may request correction, update or deletion of account information where legally and operationally possible. Some records may be retained where required for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling or legal compliance.
